How we display reviews
Where the ratings and reviews on VeniceAround.it come from, how we choose and update them, what each platform verifies and how to check them on the original page.
In short
Where do VeniceAround's reviews come from?
The VeniceAround reviews shown on the website come from two public sources: Daniela's profile on ToursByLocals and her Google Business Profile. ToursByLocals collects reviews from guests who booked a tour through its platform; Google does not verify that reviewers purchased the service. We show all of Daniela's Google reviews and selected ToursByLocals excerpts, with unchanged text, author, date and source; we do not write reviews, we offer no incentives and we always link to the original page.
This translation is provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy the Italian version prevails.

Where the reviews shown come from
In line with article 22, paragraph 5-bis, of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005), this page explains where the reviews come from and whether, and how, it is checked that they were written by people who actually used the service. The ratings and reviews shown on VeniceAround.it come from two independent platforms, where guests write and publish their reviews directly:
- ToursByLocals, Daniela Z.'s profile. ToursByLocals collects reviews from guests who booked a tour through its platform; checks are carried out under the platform's own procedures. Read all the reviews on ToursByLocals.
- Google, Business Profile "Daniela Zarpellon | Private Tours Venice - Licensed Guide". Anyone with a Google account can leave a review: Google does not verify that reviewers purchased the service, and labels them as not verified. Read all the reviews on Google.
The "Leave a Google review" button on this website links to Google's own review form (leave a review on Google): reviews are written and published on Google, not on this website. The TripAdvisor listing "Gira Vicenza" concerns Daniela's tours in Vicenza, presented on the sister site GiraVicenza.it: its reviews are not shown here. VeniceAround.it does not use widgets that load reviews automatically.

The figures
How ratings are shown and updated
The figures shown were collected manually in October 2026 from the platforms' public pages:
- ToursByLocals, Daniela Z.'s profile: 5.0 out of 5 from 255 reviews and 581 tours (October 2026).
- Google, Business Profile "Daniela Zarpellon | Private Tours Venice - Licensed Guide": 5.0 out of 5 from 9 reviews (October 2026).
We report each rating as calculated by the platform, separately: we do not round it or combine the two sources into a single score. We do not add rating markup (such as aggregateRating structured data) to the website's pages. The figures are updated periodically; in the meantime the values on the platforms may have changed, and those published on the original pages are the ones that count.
Selection
How we choose the reviews
From Google we show all the reviews published on Daniela's profile, including those about her tours in Vicenza and the Veneto, each with its date; from ToursByLocals we show selected excerpts, which are examples and not a summary of all opinions. Reviews written in another language are shown in the original with a translation, marked as such. Each review is reproduced without changes to the words, in full or as a short excerpt, with the author's name exactly as it appears on the platform (for example "Kathleen B." on ToursByLocals or the full name shown on Google), the month and year of the review and the source. On the Italian and French pages, reviews written in English are accompanied by a translation, clearly marked as such.
The reviews shown are examples, not a summary of all opinions. For a complete picture, please read the original pages. If you are the author of a quoted review and would prefer it not to appear on the website, write to us and we will remove it.
Fairness
No incentives, no reviews written by us
- VeniceAround does not write, buy or commission reviews.
- It does not offer discounts, gifts or other benefits in exchange for a review or a high rating.
- It does not alter the text of the reviews shown.
- It cannot delete negative reviews: moderation on each platform is solely the platform's responsibility, under its own rules.
Checking that reviewers actually took part in a tour is left to each platform's own procedures, described on its information pages: ToursByLocals links reviews to bookings made through it, while Google does not verify purchases. Daniela may reply publicly to reviews on the platforms.
Reports
How to report a problem
If you believe that a review on ToursByLocals or Google is fake or unfair, you can report it directly to the platform, using its own reporting tools. If you think the website reports a figure or a review inaccurately, write to us at daniela@venicearound.it: we will check and correct it. How we handle the names of quoted authors is described in the privacy policy.
