In short

VeniceAround.it is the website of Daniela Zarpellon, a licensed tourist guide entered in the Elenco nazionale delle guide turistiche (National Register of Tourist Guides) under no. 05000058, trading as VeniceAround by Daniela Zarpellon (VAT no. 03934120241). Qualification
License and entry in the National Register of Tourist Guides
Daniela Zarpellon is entered in the Elenco nazionale delle guide turistiche (National Register of Tourist Guides), established at the Italian Ministry of Tourism by Law no. 190 of December 13, 2023, under number 05000058.
Her registration can be checked on the Ministry of Tourism's National Platform for Tourist Guides, which gives access to the National Register, and through the QR code on her identification badge, which the guide displays while working, as required by Article 11 of the same law. More about her background is on the page about Daniela.
As required by Article 11 of Law 190/2023, before any booking is confirmed you receive clear and transparent information about the cost of the service in a free, no-obligation written quote: the method is explained on the how tailor-made tours and quotes work page and in the terms of the guiding service.
Purpose of the website
What this website is for
The website presents Daniela Zarpellon's professional work as a tourist guide: private tailor-made tours in Venice and its lagoon, family tours, the Venice Stay Design pre-trip planning service and day trips from Venice in the Veneto. It allows you to ask for information and quotes. It is not an online shop: prices are not published, no payments are made on the website, and a tour is confirmed only after you have received and accepted a written quote, usually sent within 24 hours of your request.
VeniceAround offers its own guiding and planning services only. It does not sell package holidays, transport, accommodation or tickets: admission tickets, private boats and water taxis (booked only with licensed operators) and cars with driver for day trips are third-party services, paid directly by you or shown separately in the quote. Daniela does not drive.

Links
Links to external websites
The website contains links to third-party websites, such as Google Maps, WhatsApp, ToursByLocals, YouTube and Vimeo, the official websites of museums and public bodies, and the sister site GiraVicenza.it. These links open only when you click on them. VeniceAround does not control these websites and is not responsible for their content, availability or the way they handle data: please read their terms and policies. How external links and videos work in relation to cookies is explained in the cookie policy.
Accuracy
Opening times, access and information about places
The historical and artistic information is prepared with care and reviewed periodically. However, opening times, opening days, ticket prices, access rules, restoration work and public transport by water depend on the organizations that manage them and may change without notice; in Venice, conditions such as acqua alta (high water) may also affect routes on the day.
For this reason the website does not give exact opening times: openings should always be checked at the time of your inquiry, and Daniela checks them when preparing the quote. VeniceAround is not responsible for closures or changes decided by the managers of the sites or by transport operators; what happens in such cases during a booked tour is described in the terms of the guiding service. Practical advice is collected in the Venice travel tips.
Limits
Use of the website and limitation of liability
We do our best to keep the website available, accurate and free of errors, but we cannot guarantee that it will be so at all times. The content of the website is for information only and does not constitute a contractual offer: the terms of the tour are those of the accepted quote. This is without prejudice to the rights granted to consumers by law and to any liability that cannot be excluded.
If you spot a mistake or out-of-date information, please write to us and we will correct it. For accessibility problems with the website, see the website and tour accessibility page; for complaints about the service, see the complaints procedure.
